FAQ

Q: Do you pirate games? if so where do you downl-
A: I do not, I always buy all of my games, support the developer! they don't do it for free.

Q: Any good walkthrough for otome games?
A: At google just type the game name in japanese and add 攻略 to it, you'll always get a hit like
Choro, Halfadder, Momokan or Maistar always have great guides!
Oh there is Syrup26 too... but I only used their guides for the Geten no Hana games.

Q: Where do you buy your games?
A: CDjapan, Amiami or Playasia(rarely, only if they have a good deal/sale).
If you have a credit card you could buy directly from AmazonJP, however they're iffy, sometimes
games might not be available for overseas shipping and/or you need a CC.
At CDjapan and Amiami or playasia you can pay with paypal which is easier in some countries.

Q: I want an animate/stellaworth set! Which forwarding service do you recommend?
A: I recommend Fromjapan, they're often recommended and you can use fedex/DHL if you wish.
You can also get them from CDjapan these days... you can request it but
they might ship them out pretty late because it takes time etc.

Q: Why are the comments closed?
A: Comments are open till approval.
This is mostly to prevent spam bots from posting on it, I still need to manually approve
any comments I do get which I try to do periodically...... if I don't forget.

Q: Any otome game recommendations for beginners of japanese language?
(Or otome gamers just starting out)
A:Anything with furigana so KOEI's games should be easy, even geten no hana.
Petit Reve's games, specifically Soukai Buccaneers doesn't use difficult language or maybe
Karin-ent's games! most have a voiced heroine which should help if you also rely on voice.
School setting otomege that don't use complicated words such as the starry sky series
or the old Himehibi is good too. Honestly avoid old-timey games like for example Ken ga Kimi,
Hana Oboro etc untill you have a better grasp of the language.

Q: Any tips for learning japanese?
A: There is not one way to learn it their are multiples, some people study
other do it on their own time with various workbooks or apps anyway one advice is
you have to pretend you are a little kid and learn from scratch.
I can recommend ''Learning Hiragana and Katakana: Workbook and Practice Sheets'' and
''remembering the kanji'' the latter means everyday learn 5 words and repeat it the next till you got it.
These are easy to use, start slowly and sooner or later you will have a good grasp of common words
and pronouns just practice every day and when you see the fruits of your labor just try going
into kanji with either an app or a work book, I hope this sets you into a good direction
I am not a teacher and I'll never will be one so this is all I can recommend. :).
There's more than one way to do it, one method might not work another can! practice makes perfect.

Q: do you get paid for this?
A: No, all reviews are completely unprofessional, I do not get paid for this
they're written in my own free time and all my opinion is my own in some cases
I could agree with the japanese but I try to keep an open mind most of the time.
If I disliked a game/vn thats OK we all have different tastes
and sometimes that one VN/game just wasn't for me but it could be for you
or the other way around.

Final note, if this blog ever dies its mainly due to lack of interest to keep posting
or sharing opinion on whatever I play, i've seen some weird things lately
that honestly doesn't make sense, I am honestly done with social media
except for some rambles it wouldn't surprise me if one day stop using.
Nowadays whatever I end up playing i'll try my best to enjoy or try to see some positive in it
something could be more disappointing than a previous entry in a series
but it could also be better in a way, I always wondered what happend to some older bloggers
I followed that stopped but its probably like I just said and basically a combination of
waning interests in a genre or no longer care to share whatever they think.
My opinions are not an absolute truth about the games I play so if you think differently
that is fine, remember you can always step away or better put close the tab in your browser.
Or even better play the game yourself! I'm just a person who likes to write about the games
I play and if you don't like or agree with it you can leave! i'm not gonna keep you here.
