Unlogical - Review

There's harm in harmony?!
 Genre: VN.
Developer/publisher: Licobits.
Platform: Switch.
Official Site: https://licobits-game.com/unlogical/
Release date: 22-01-2026

Alright I decided to just support Licobits by buying their next game
because the premise is interesting and to figure out Miyabi's grand plan
but I hoped there were no doves involved!
Didn't even start any new games last few weeks and just catched up with some mangas.
The kdrama I started ended up being a bust, this short game break may've
helped since as release closed in I got excited?

Disclaimer: This is purely my own opinion and it could be different from yours
this is not meant to be some kind of all-truth, just an opinion that came from playing this.
If you don't like what you're reading then close the tab, move on and just idk play it yourself.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 Pro's
- Decent enough plot, not stellar but its crafted well.
- Most LI's are likable and the heroine was great esp in Miyabi's route.
- Gorgeous art and the music fit the mood.
- The romance is really cute but it can feel secondary.

Grey area
- Some convenient writing.

Con's
- Many a bad end, I'm fine with some but I think there were too much.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Unlogical is licobits second game which is made by the staff from amnesia and collar x malice.
Art is gorgeous and its likely Hanamura Mai's best work, the music was great as well
as it fit the tone and mood of the scenes very well.
System wise its mostly standard VN stuff, it felt like they wanted to do more
with it but ultimately couldn't. Timed choices were rare as was the terminal gimmick.
Each route had one best end and an absurd end, as well as a bunch of bad endings.
The default font was better than in Uta-Chro FD, it was easy on my grandma eyes.

[Story]
Continueing were the demo ended; Kanna ends up working together
with Miyabi as an operator along side the various angel AI's in the VR game.
They hosts all sorts of games which can eliminate players based on their choices.
The line between reality and game is really thin. As the VR game is still in beta bugs are rampant.
Miyabi made up all sort of strange rules which can make people paranoid
he's also capable of changing these rules on the fly which makes him unpredictable.
There are some parts of the story that are a bit convenient and there's some pacing issues.
Though its important to remember the participants of the game sans heroine
are there of their own free will. Felt like she was roped into it on accident.
As for the heroine... hmm I thought she held her own pretty well!
she was able to look Miyabi straight into the eyes and tell him it.
However I do think she was sticking her nose where it didn't belong
but I liked her rebelliousness. Honestly Miyabi had all the right to change the rules
which made it even more interesting. Either way I thought she was great
but also about as insufferable as Miyabi heh maybe they're just meant to be!
sorry I am a Kanna&Miyabi shipper.
Love me a heroine and a LI who call eachother baka's. 😂
If there's a love interest that is similar to Miyabi... then it would be Alvaro Garay.
Never thought i'd be reminded of Wand of Fortune in the year of our lord 2k26.
YES I'm making this comparison because let's be real no one but the heroine can handle him!
---

The common route was 4 chapters long which leads to a character route that's 5 chapters.
In terms of romance... they definitely became closer over the course of the story.
Whatever the route I always thought the romance was cute.
The game's CeroC and there's nothing too wild but i'm surprised
it wasn't just straight up CeroD especially with its themes.
Its overall slowpaced, I found that it took awhile to get going
and the story doesn't reach its full potential till the character route.
I found myself to be most invested in Miyabi and Ran or Kai.
Though I was curious about Yuri or Soichi I just didn't reach the same level of interest.
Soichi's route was a bit more interesting than Yuri who I thought had the weakest
but even then their route had an okay story just for them.
---
My first play took me 15ish hours, repeat plays will be half that time.
Route should be around 6-8 hours. It will depend on your reading speed so faster
readers will finish quicker.  Doing all routes in the game took me 50 hours.

I'd generally describe Miyabi as toxic but in the anti-social sense and at first
I was like I wouldn't date him but near the end of the route hell yes!
Maybe I am weird but I like Miyabi more than Yori or Yang.
Somehow I always enjoy the interactions he has with Kanna.
Though in his eyes our dear heroine is a hopeless fool. I guess I am too...
for hoping he atleast has a good reason for being who he is and deserves to be happy.
(Tho I suspect Miyabi to be a fan of stuff like Danganronpa or gen urobutcher. 💀)

Half of my first play was blind, since when I started there was no guide yet.
I ended up stepping on one landmine in the common route, so if you just
want to enjoy the story I will recommend a guide because its a real minefield.
Unless... you enjoy playing minesweeper I guess. Playing blind you'll just hit
a bad end sooner or later. I collected all bad ends but I regret doing some of Kai's.
There's 37 in total and not all of them are bad, some of them are well written
but there's some NOPE in there.  Thankfully you only need to do the best
and absurd ends to complete the gallery. The only exception
to this is Miyabi cuz he has two bad ends with a CG.
I do not dislike Unlogical having a bunch of bad ends, perhaps its because I expected it
so I am not let down or bewildered there being so many like with honey vibes.😅

The game has lots of popular seiyuu, even side characters.
The poster boy is voiced by a fairly new seiyuu with very little roles in otome games
I like it when they use new seiyuus and Ootsuka Takeo's performance for Miyabi was stellar.
I also liked Ran's voice actor a lot in this game, Toshiyuki Toyonaga.
Mostly everyone else did a good job as well like they always do, the above two stood out to me.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Overall Unlogical was definitely an interesting otome game, however
I found it to be a bit rough around the edges. The story was pretty decent
and the romance was cute! though its not really till the routes that I could see
the romance start to blossom. I found that they love to foreshadow things
but don't go to deep into it and often is a bit convenient with wrapping it up.
The times I was annoyed by this was at the end of Soichi's route as well as Ran.
However I was always learning knew things so I don't think it was that bad?
I figured there was a time and place for the real truth behind it so I forgave some of it.
I am a bit sad that I wasn't able to enjoy Ran's route as much as I'd liked?
japan seems to love him but a part of me died in a certain scene IYKYK.
On the other hand I absolutely loved Miyabi's route and can't shut up about him.😄
It may vary whether a route is good since they're character focused, there
were times I had no idea what was going on, some of the games
characters were forced to play could be absurd to say the least.
Routes were unique and never quite the same because they all explore it differently.
Unlogical is a fairly dark game, but it knew when to be light so it didn't overtake
in either of these aspects which may be why I was able to like it as much as I did.
 ---
I'd still recommend it to those who enjoyed other games from the same writer
such as Collar x Malice with a setting like period cube because that is the only
other otome game that comes to my mind really. If you don't like those
or dislike elimination games i'd probably not recommend un:logical to you.
I loved the characters and the interactions between them all
and the story wasn't bad, it took advantage of its setting.
I don't have many complaints, the heroine was mostly good though I wish she had
a sprite in the corner but she did show up sometimes in other characters POV.
I do think most of the LI's feel like vanilla icecream and then there's Miyabi
who's vanilla dipped in dark chocolate. As he is a bit different from the usual.
9/10
Playing this blind... might be hell but there are always guides for the lost and confused.
Honestly while playing this otome I realized what fun is a game if there's no stakes or
its struggle removed. Like okay if you just want the story use a guide.
If you miss older visual novels where choices matter and you have
to pay attention then Unlogical is honestly pretty great.
 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
TL;DR
All in all pretty good, decent story with some cute romance woven into it and the game
didn't feel like it was too short, it was quite voluminous, Most of the bad ends I saw
were well written and some others were just failure ends. Idk what's there to hate really.
Life's not meant to be straight asphalt afterall. Its okay if there are bumps in the road.
Unlogical may not be for everyone but I did think the dev team
did their very best in crafting this game up. If it got a FD
I would definitely buy it for Miyabi or a route for Mitsuki or Kohaku.
I think this is my favorite Licobits game so far!
---

 My play order: Yuri > Kai > Soichi > Ran > Miyabi>Addendum.
There are route restrictions but only for Miyabi its possible to pursue him
from your second playthrough! I personally saved his route for last.

Recommended order:
Yuri > Soichi > Kai > Ran > Miyabi> Addendum.
Apparently this was the official recommended order so I didn't even stray that much
and this order goes from least spoilers to most. Kai cleared up a lot I was curious about
but Yuri was rather self-contained and glossed over things explained elsewhere.

Character rambles after the jump, tho its just commentary, I tried to keep
it light on spoilers but I still wrote about the characters.
I will also only share mostly two of my favorite CG's per route.
If you want no spoilers at all just stop reading here, its just
senile grandma rambles beyond this point anyways.
 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yuri.
CV: Shimazaki Nobunaga.
Yuri's the cerberpuppy but I was kinda disappointed by this route?
I didn't really have a strong opinion on him during the common route and at first
it wasn't that interesting? he's in it for the money. I wasn't quite sure if
he was being fully honest too. In terms of romance they do bond but I wasn't
really sure about him its like there's something but I can't put my finger on it.
Storywise at first I wasn't quite sold on this route, it wasn't particularly engaging
but it ended up picking itself up midway through. This was really self-contained.
Yuri's dishonest AF and farts out them lies Kanna touched base on his ass so they
pinky promised maybe you shouldn't kay? Kanna really surprised me, she kicked ass in ch3.
Not sure what was up with Chihiro but he has his own goals, I wondered why Miyabi had
less screentime but maybe he was eating popcorn over what transpired in Yuri's 4th chapter.
What was even going on? though I was surprised Miyabi didn't seem like
he approved of Chi-chan fooling around. Maybe he's not so bad afterall.
However Miyabi should program the game better and keep his AI angels in check.............
tho he does stay up all night (is that the sun?) for bug fixing so I won't be too hard on him.
Wait why am I talking about Miyabi here when its Yuri's route? honestly I disliked chapter 4
because it featured a king's game and a poorly one at that, I hated every minute of it.
Like remember the king's game in persona 4? hilarious. Here it made me mad.
Chi-chan messing around for his own entertainment, Miyabi even roasts him.
Like the fuck you're doing? get back to work. (godbless)
Also Chihiro came off as gay to me since for one, he hits on Miyabi a lot
and even says I like you before he logs out for good.
In the end a lot of stuff happened very fast like the confrontation
with the brother that I barely could keep up, NGL it felt rushed
or I suffered information overload or something.
Now I didn't completely dislike it and the romance was very cute! its just
I thought that Yuri's story felt rather self-contained. It didn't do more than necessary.
All in all okay route! Yuri's likable but not my favorite. During the epilogue
I kept wondering about Miyabi and nearly mentally tuned out despite it mostly
being a really cute ending but it felt like there was so much more
going on and Yuri's route was not the time and place for it.
7/10
TL;DR Romance was cute but that's about it, really self-contained route it doesn't
do more than needed for the overall story and is essentially a small piece of the greater whole.
Where have I seen this before? Olympia Soiree perhaps? omg he even has
the same seiyuu as Riku. This time however Yuri is not quite my best boy...
~

Kai.
CV: Ishikawa Kaito.
Kanna's ex boyfriend who wanted her to forget about him, uh like hell we will amirite?
He's also the pegasus which could mean he's a real sweetheart but hmmm...
maybe because of his involvement he realized its better to cut ties with her
so that's honestly really sweet if true... still I wanted to do his route due to this!
kinda interesting to see them make up and get together again.
I actually wanted to do Miyabi route as it unlocks after viewing 1 best end
but decided against this and went for Kai instead!
They held some cookoff and two chara's that previously died in game were back
which includes the insane woman and I had to do a raincheck if this was even real.
Then I remembered this wasn't a SAO.
Upon taste testing Miyabi found it thoroughly disgusting and needs to recover.
After this Kai wants to be an operator too and his reason is very simple...
Miyabi's like are you serious but this just gives him new reasons to add penalties.
I thought Kanna and Kai's chemistry was really good that I wondered why
they even broke up... anyway they're back and trying. Mystery dude shows up
and says they're doooooomed and promptly leaves like he's Tsukuyomi from Olisoi.
Ran doesn't seem to like they're together and wants Kai gone.
They're brothers but they had different mom's, Ran resents him aaaand he doesn't
want Kai to butt in the life he has build now which includes Kanna.
The next game was literally just Among Us who's the fake which was strangely interesting?
but I shouldn't say too much so all say is that I was like wtf my dude at the end of it.
Miyabi was quite insufferable and Kanna ended up between a rock and a hard place
nearly experiencing what Kai had. Yet Kai was so supportive and he even tried
to come up with a plan to shut down Miyabi's kusoge. Also Kai's route did not
put Ran in a positive light, i'm actually kinda losing interest in Ran now.
Not sure what was up with Shiori but the drama sure kept going wew lad.
She's so insane, her full potential is revealed in the bad ends and I do not like it.
Kai's situation is quite complex, he even thought he was a psychopath at one point
due to the feelings he had when certain things happened. Anyway realizing
something is wrong is always the first step to getting better. So it goes.
The finale was spectacular to say the least and I enjoyed it!
It probably looks like I am skipping over events but its better experienced on your own.
8.5/10.
Well other than that I did generally like Kai's route, its not every day we have
an otome game with an ex boyfriend! Although it feels a bit like a what if route...
but more so because its an otome game and there are other LI's.
Nah the real reason is because I have Miyabi living rent free in my head.😊
Also after Kai's route I understood things a lot better than after the previous route
so I'd recommend Kai's route if you want to understand the setting better.

 Soichi.
CV: Uchida Yuma.
Mister nice guy and the Griffin. TBH? I wasn't very interested in him
and UchiYu's acting sounded too much like Yosuga most of the time.
I actually wanted to do Ran next but I needed a break from the drama that went on
in Kai's route and Ran was a key player in it. So naturally that meant Soichi was next!
The shower scene was hilarious, well after the last two routes I hoped the AI angel
Menou who's tagged to Soichi wasn't gonna be annoying. I liked her design, she's cute.
The game they were  forced to play was absurd to say the least who thought this up?!
Every route so far has shown us different types of games or what the vr game is capable of
and I am starting to think its dangerous because in this route its mimicking reality quite realistically.
Maybe the world is a game already..... just a thought. Haha! Soichi seems to realize
what a double edged sword it is. Either way this route was quite interesting.
His SNS nickname is hilarious Eggsandyaa.😂
I'm not so sure about Soichi. Not all was as it seemed... now romantically its complicated.
I could understand Kanna fell for him at some point but yea... Soichi is a complex character
and I had trouble understanding him at times so I couldn't really see it.
I liked the simulated dungeon crawling part, I rarely play those types of games
but I found it really interesting to see it used here. Miyabi had to be a kill joy
and i'm sure he lost some edge or braincells from hearing Menou out.😅
He didn't say a single thing during the entire thing.💀💀💀
Wait no--- he actually finds it completely fascinating. Damn he's easy.
As if! he finds it completely idiotic to use the game that way.
I didn't find Menou to be that annoying as Shinju or Ruri but its a recurring theme.
Miyabi was being his usual... uncaring self why is he like this?!

Due some things happening Soichi realizes he cares more about Kanna than he thought which
pretty much beautifully depicted the romance. He even realizes how much of a bad person he was.
Soichi did give Miyabi a piece of his mind, saying he should care more about the players
and that the game being the way it is was no good. Not sure if Miyabi cared but that is so like him.
I wonder what else is really at work, this route had some reveals that made me even more invested
but I will say I disliked it how they rolled the credits and just glossed over a lot of the game stuff.
The epilogue tries to put a bandaid on this but i'm legit upset. The absurd ending was brutal
but it didn't upset me as much as how they rolled the credits on me in the best end.
8.2/10
Overall I liked Soichi's route, its a bit of a sleeper but it ended up being a surprise favorite.
The story didn't really do anything special but it was still interesting!
I still have so many questions that weren't answered though.
They ended up rolling the credits while a lot of the unlogical stuff was glossed over...
and that made me upset. You won't believe me when I say it had me like; NO you cannot
roll the credits like this! like hello? what about Miyabi?!😭😭😭
It was mitigated somewhat in Kai's route but this is the second time that after the route ends
I am left thinking about Miyabi. Did they do this on purpose? or do I have brainrot.
~

Ran.
CV: Toyonaga Toshiyuki.
The yearning is strong with this one...
Ran's close friend or I saw them that way, he's also the echidna which
kinda made me wary. Before Kai's route Ran was probably the only LI i'd naturally
ship Kanna with. Or more like their relationship felt natural The stare shown
in the CG at the end of the common route send me some slight chills.
The events in Kai's route didn't help much. Its obvious to me that he likes Kanna
but the attitude towards Kai gave me mixed signals that I delayed doing his route.
Needless to say he's surprisingly chill and always ends up being like if you're happy then
so it goes! so he can't be that bad right?  I suppose you could say he's mostly a green flag LI
with a yellow ribbon on it.(Nah I put it there) The route started off rather confusing, Kanna
was surprised how he snuggled up to her and I would be too if my best friend did that to me
like chotto-a-minute you know? and then he started spouting shit like you don't have to think
and you can just lay in my arms being rather overprotective. Or in otherwords WeeU WeeU WeeU!
we got a live one. Not even 20 minutes into this route and I take my green flag statement back.
Kanna navigated this scenario well but damn... now I am super wary of Ran again.😔
Its probably some side effect of the game like with Kai. They end up playing
some games in the real world together, they're really close and casual.😄
Miyabi ends up messing with Kanna and puts her between a rock and a hard place, turns out
the don't say anything or do anything from the weird dream-experience was a hint
for the game being played right now. The romance was certainly awkward
one day Ran said he had a girl he liked and then he started to describe her
which ends up just being well you know.... Kanna is really happy for him.
Not sure if he is pulling her leg or just trying to get a reaction out of her
either way it didn't work. Ugh I actually dislike this because Ran and Kanna
have a dynamic were they're so close they may as well be in a relationship.
Not sure how I'd feel this because they breath eachothers air so much
but the one with the feelings does nothing and things remain awkward.
Anyway I was not prepared for a certain revelation about who Miyabi's spirit is.
WTF man! oh come on?! I said this out loud because I was so bewildered.💀
You'd think Ran's the one yearning and then they pull that stunt.
I had not much  context on it and Chi-chan said Miyabi didn't like it one bit???!!! weird.
Not sure what was up with Mitsuki this route but damn who flipped his switch?!
Ran finally gets out his... desires but not how you'd expect it to
either way idk man I'm not the target audience for this.💀💀💀
Like I think Ran is cute and its fine for him to have feelings for Kanna
but the awkwardness was killing me softly, its nearly unbearable to watch.
Felt like a part of me died in the have you heard of skinship scene.
Like it sounds randy but the CG... oh goodness gracious Kanna didn't look
like she enjoyed herself with him at all, the vibes were off.
I'm all for some steam but this time I was kind of eh...
if it was me I'd probably have the same reaction.
Next I wasn't sure what was going on at all till the end when it was properly explained
which just lead to me going the fuck?! yea what is even real, Soichi was right.
The final scene of the best end had me going like... is this even a good end?
It is but you really need to do the truth end/addendum.
I have mixed feelings about it as a whole however if you really like Ran this route might
just be the best thing since sliced bread. I'll admit Ran's absurd end was spicy...
but it also wasn't much more than that. He didn't have that many bad ends and compared
to Kai they were mostly normal which is good since I think Ran suffered enough.😌
 7.7/10
Hmm yea I like Ran but he's not for me its as simple as that.
Though if I couldn't find anyone to ship Kanna with he would be my no,1 choice.😊
I'm sorry I just didn't like this route as much as I would've liked...
and that is fine sometimes its just not your cup of tea.
Ran is portrayed as a good friend and he's respectful in other routes
which is a plus but the vibes were off too many times for me in his own route.
Maybe I was just unable to relate? having a close guy friend seems nice
but either way it may just have been a matter of time for these two before they realized
their feelings etc. The process was cursed but the ship eventually sailed.
What can I say but that I like the character more than the route itself!
~

Miyabi.
CV: Ootsuka Takeo.
Neeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrd
Not!Sunday and more Like A Dragon. Well Dragons can be intimidating
and strong which checked out but they can also be loyal guardian creatures.
One thing I did notice was Miyabi's the only one with his real world appearance as unknown.
Part if me thought he wasn't human but surely not right? Either way I wanted to know more.
IDK why I am even excited but maybe its good, its rare for me to just want to
do the poster guys route but that's also refreshing. When going through the common route
I was like man... Miyabi is yikes because hooboy he's got aura of authority.
A mystery guy asked Kanna to try to get along since he has no friends.💀
Also he got off from other peoples suffering so we got a sadist over here.
Well okay... maybe? i'll reserve full judgment till after his route.
My reaction to Miyabi's nonsense early on would mostly be this 😬😬😬
like is this guy for real? oh he's never been more real.
Some dragons are just meant to be tamed I guess and Kanna was his tamer.
In most routes he sorta just disappears and keeps to himself drowning in work.
He never did anything i'd say is toxic but as I said before he's anti-social
doesn't give a shit about social niceties. Work work work work.💀
Oh he likes reading and isn't a morning person... because he was up all night.
Mayhaps we are the catalyst that can fix him? haha.
There were small things here or there that made me like him more
like the squabbles between Miyabi and Chihiro-san.😅
As for the route itself, its been 48 years! there were lots of comical moments
which made it a bit more light-hearted but I could feel that there was more to it.
Nothing really sold me as Miyabi being bad in fact I liked him even more!
m-maybe I am a masochist?! surely not but he knew when to stop. I laughed a bit during
THAT scene either way what bothers me is that we don't really know who Miyabi is IRL.
He seems like a private person who knows how to keep work and life separate.
Eeeh how to explain? do you ever play an online game... know someone in it as a friend
but know nothing about them in real and they never really elaborate much. Its like that.
You may know one side but not the full picture, I can't help but be bothered by this.
Uh UH UH... how they met IRL made me kind of uncomfortable NGL.
If it was me I would shit my pants.😨😱 Even if Kanna was the one
who suggested but the way Miyabi made it happen was just.😬😬😬
Anyway what surprised me is that Miyabi is rather... normal.😬💀
Despite the awkwardness of their meeting I feel like I know him a bit better
and that uncomfy feeling disappea--- nvm that smirk of his in the CG brought it back.
Kanna handled him well and she even suggested he'd come along and meet the other guys
and then Miyabi was like record scratch, freeze frame. How did I get into this situation?!
While Kai almost says he would never accept him to be her boyfriend and Kanna has
to say it ain't like that YET. 😂😂😂 Miyabi just browses the menu like a normal guy
saying that he doesn't really care what Kai or Ran think of how they met or their relationship.
They do express their worry and she could call them if anything happens which was endearing.
ISTG Kanna Suzuno I am in awe of your gigantic balls. It gives me balls.
I expected there was more to Miyabi and he had not the happiest of childhoods and thinks
he's unworthy of affection till he gets his work done cuz that's how he was treated. 😭
No wonder he's such a workaholic... holy shit where are his parents i'm gonna-----😠
Not here because he was abandoned after his parents were arrested and had to make ends
meet till he met Hidaka and then they both worked together on a dream project.
Also Miyabi is a dog person and his fav breed is the pomerian which is ironically fitting.
Hidaka was kind of annoying in this route but he turned Miyabi into a harem protag....
i'm sorry Idk how to explain this without more spoilers so I am keeping it light and fun. ^_~.
The best part of this segment was that both Miyabi and Kanna were on the same wavelength
she knows she may not be able to change him and he ends up respecting her. Beautiful.
Hidaka's wish for Miyabi to have friends and such is genuine. He knows he won't be alive forever
so the last thing he wants is Miyabi to be alone. Idk why but this touched my heartstrings.😭
Ugh Miyabi did some things but then they found eachother again and that moment
ugh... my heart it hurts. They all work together and I thought it was a wonderful finale.
I suppose it might be kind of cheesy how Miyabi decided to live on but I found it heartwarming.
Miyabi was also truly like a dragon, god I fear those flames it'll be the last thing I see.
There weren't any kiss CG's in the best end but in return we got genuine connection.
Miyabi's confession was like he shot arrows into my soul I am respectfully deceased!💕💀
Altho they had to part since they're of different worlds he may just scout her for his next project.
This may just be the most bittersweet best ending i've ever seen.
In the epilogue life is back to normal for Kanna and Ran...
on her break she receives a call from someone asking where she is.
Kanna trolls him a bit but you know who this is. Of course we pick the choice
asking where he is and he is happy to meet her again because OMG AAAAAAAAA~~
HE DID IT TWICE. Wait... did we turn on the GPS. 💀
Honestly I haven't felt this sort of happiness since clearing tales of arise.
They have different lives yet it still intertwines because they have a connection.
It did feel kind of shoujo manga-ish but Miyabi's best ending evoked nothing but positivity.
His absurd ending was rather tragic... but I found it well written.
WAIT because there was a subjective (bad) ending where she
chose to stay with Miyabi and decide to live in the same world
instead of them each having their own lives. This ending had
pffffffffffffffft an extremely spicy CG but I am here for it.
It made up for the lack of kiss CG's but please do give me a FD.
Also Kohaku had a mini ending in this route but I feel like they did him dirty...
and now I am of mind that Kohaku deserves a full route.
Anyway I actually managed to exactly predict what Miyabi's extra CG was and its so chef's kiss.
Imagine rejecting normalcy and you're like the most normal guy, understandable.
 9.5/10
What can I say but that I thoroughly enjoyed Miyabi's route and learning more about him...
I can see why some would say he's not husbando material. He even has a hidden bad end
that I presume is added for anyone that wants nothing to do with this guy.
Or to troll because the date was april 1... but why would you?
I'd feel awful for doing that to him of all people.
Miyabi's best end compared to all the other routes in this game can feel a bit rushed.
In that sense I am disappointed but they did make a short story as a relief which was super cute.
Needless to say I had a great time and I actually like Miyabi! he has a strong personality and
compared to most LI's in these games he's a breath of fresh air but I understand he's not
for everyone. Actually maybe his best ending is fine... its completely normal heh.😏
I say this because you can just imagine what normal couples would do.
Still... I kinda want to see it so I hope Unlogical gets a fandisk.

Addendum.
You can view this after doing all happy ends and is unlocked by inputting the heroine's ID
as the password when starting a new game. It contained all of the story that
they couldn't fit into the routes themselves so the roots of it made sense.
There's some stuff from Ran's POV and expands upon Angelica, you may've noticed
he is often absent and it gives a reason for his disappearance in the beginning of
the game plus further details to his involvement which adds a lot to his route.
The best part about this truth end is that it only focuses on what we
don't know so it really fills in the gaps of the story!
Due to this I really like this truth end because its not repetitive and gets straight to the point.
They could have included it to begin with however its fine to do it as an addendum.

Fav route:
Miyabi> Kai > Soichi / Ran > Yuri.
This goes from most enjoyed to not my cup of tea but maybe its someone elses?

Fav character:
Miyabi💕>Kai>Ran>Soichi/Yuri>Kohaku>Chihiro>Menou>Mitsuki>Ruri/Hotaru>Shinju>Shiori.
I don't dislike anyone so its just preference who I like the most.

Final thoughts.
Unlogical in a nutshell. Don't let the AI cook.

What can I say but I am glad I didn't chicken out on getting this
even if there were some aspects that were not for me.
The only routes that i'd say I liked were Soichi, Kai and Miyabi.
I wouldn't say the writing was stellar but it wasn't awful or anything.
Miyabi was such a no good character but even then I found there to be endearing parts
to his character. Tho I feel he's a very hit or miss character either you like him or you don't.
Miyabi really reminds me of Alvaro cuz he's hit or miss too.
Some parts of the story could feel a bit convenient but it was for the most part well crafted
and there was care put into this game. Care I rarely see in newer games these days.
The death game was kinda interesting but it varied on the route, not every route was
as interesting nor do they all explain the story very well. You'll have to do all routes
to fully understand everything. After Yuri's route I felt like I was still missing pieces
but Kai's route enlightened me and Soichi brought a new element to the table.
No route felt the same and I enjoyed getting to know each character.
There were some pacing issues and while the romance is very cute it may be just enough.
So if you wanted more romance it could be disappointing...
I kinda want a FD because there's so much they could expand upon
but even as it is most routes had satisfying endings.
Gonna miss them especially that nerd over there...
I did have a lot of  brainrot over Miyabi to the point it ruined the ending of Yuri's route.💀
Though that's just me... sometimes we're just thinking a lot about a specific character.😅
I generally do like all LI's but some just more as supportive characters. Kai had a really
satisfying and well-rounded route but Miyabi was always in the back of my mind...
not sure if I like it or hate it. The ending of Soichi's route was awful for me because
I wanted to dive right into Miyabi's route.  Ran's route was rough for me...
I was not the target audience but I know other people may like Ran more than I did.
Miyabi and Kanna felt like a very hate to love trope. I liked their dynamic.
They don't like eachother outright, most of the other LI's are all on good terms
with Kanna which felt like kinda the usual as otome games go.
Normalize LI's not liking the heroine right off the bat! its okay if there nice guys of course
but most otome games lately just have LI's like the heroine for breathing so its refreshing.
OMG I really could have a lot of stuff to say but all that comes out of my mouth is Miyabi.
Wait that's just like how Yagami was like in lost judgment regarding a character there.💀
9/10
I do think there were a bit too many bad ends, sure some were well written
but others were just kinda fail ends and I lost steam trying to collect them all
especially after going back for some of Kai's because mega yikes.
No LI in Unlogical was unlikable for me even if they weren't for me.
Its two of the side characters you should be worrying about.
Not sure if there will be a FD but I would buy it for Miyabi for sure
it feels kind of bait for them to end his route the way they did, almost like
they're testing the waters or want to make more money later.
---

Will probably only recommend Unlogical to those that like darker story focused otome games
that know when to fool around and when not, wouldn't recommend it if you're here
solely for romance because you get so much more than that.
Really had to add this because I realized my route impressions can make the game
seem lighter than it is, sure fun is had but it was still dark and has heavy themes.

Edit 30/1/26: Typo fixes and some additions I felt like I had to add.

  1. The heroine sounds great but... honestly the amount of bad ends
scare me, I don't really mind story oriented otome with
creative settings as long as the romance ends up being rewarding.
Hope it gets picked up for localization.

    1. Thanks for the comment!
I seen no reason why it can't be brought over.
Only bad ends that I think could be worrisome is some in Kai's route but that's about it.
